Walmart Is Offering These For Free Soon

In recent years, Walmart has expanded its healthcare offerings, which shoppers already use for pharmaceuticals.

The first Walmart Health facilities debuted in 2019 and a couple more followed in 2020. Walmart opened five more stores after slowing expansion in 2021.

They serve insured and uninsured patients with medical, dental, and optometry services. Walmart will soon offer several services for free

As part of Walmart Wellness Day on Saturday, July 23, glucose, cholesterol, BMI, and blood pressure screenings and the COVID-19 vaccine are free, 

and immunizations like pneumonia, tetanus, HPV, measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox/shingles, whooping cough,

Hepatitis A & B, and more are affordable at 4,600 Walmart pharmacies nationwide. Sometimes these services cost hundreds of dollars.

"Walmart Wellness Day encourages families to get healthy and stay on a healthy track by helping them know their numbers and then seek care to improve their lifestyles,"

according to the mega-retailer's website. Walmart Wellness Day is a good time for customers to learn about our health and wellness solutions.

This incident isn't new. Walmart Wellness Days have provided free and subsidized healthcare to shoppers without insurance since 2014. 

The company has provided 4.7 million free health screenings that would otherwise be done at doctors' offices or with expensive at-home tests since its founding.
