Taco Bell Is Selling Its First-Ever Gelato

From sweet and crunchy Cinnamon Twists to icing-injected Cinnabon Delights, Taco Bell makes some of the most distinctive fast-food desserts.

Taco Bell is trying a new Mtn Dew Baja Blast Gelato starting Aug. 31. Unfortunately, Taco Bell lovers outside southern California can only get the new dessert

Customers outside California may still be able to enjoy the gelato. Many fast-food restaurants, including Taco Bell,

test new menu items at certain locations to see if they're popular enough to go out nationwide.

Taco Bell's teal Baja Blast has tropical, citrusy, and fruity flavors. The new gelato has those classic flavors.

“This is the first time we are releasing a gelato and we are so pleased to hear how fans appreciate the sweet and creamy delight," Taco Bell global 

chief culinary innovation officer Liz Matthews said. Baja Blast is a Taco Bell classic with a loyal following, so making it gelato felt fitting.
