Holiday Makeup Tips for Baby Boomer Women

Christmas is the most beautiful, wonderful, and difficult time of the year. Usually, the whole month of December is a rush to buy gifts for family and friends, prepare the house, and get ready for the big meal.

As we get older, our needs for make-up change. Everything you learned and got good at in your 30s and 40s about how to put on makeup might not work as well anymore.

To make sure your makeup looks as perfect and natural as it did years ago, you may need to take a few extra steps and put in a little more work.

Before they start painting, artists think about their subject first. Before putting on holiday makeup, the most important thing to think about is the state of your skin.

Moisturize

A cloth should be clean and smooth, with no dirt or other things on it. Your skin should be as smooth and clean as possible before you put on makeup.

Exfoliate

Primer

Now that the surface has been taken care of, it's time to put on the makeup! A good foundation is the base of your makeup.
